C2 Education in Marietta is looking for a tutor who can teach Language Arts and the SAT/ ACT verbal components**ESOL, ESL, ELL (English as a Second Language) experience also a plus
Duties Include:
-Working with our partner schools on a daily basis to teach in a classroom ( Mon-Fri between 2-4 pm)
- Working with students in grades K-12 to enrich their reading and writing skills
- Working mainly weekends, and some weekdays as needed
- Knowledge of SAT/ACT verbal components, with special emphasis on writing and grammar skills
-This is a part time position
-Traveling from location to location to meet the needs of each school and our tutoring center (all locations are in Marietta but distance varies)
Qualifications:
- College degree - Journalism, Literature or similar degree preferred
- Experience in tutoring/teaching students
-Enthusiastic attitude towards working with students
-All Instructors must take the (unofficial) SAT Test again upon employment
